Well ladies and Gents it is that time of year again, October is fast approaching and as we all know at this stage, October is the official Breast Cancer Awareness Month, A chosen month in the year when we all are asked to focus on what we can do to help in Breast Cancer Research and Support. As I work in this area as a post mastectomy fitter I see first hand the devastation that breast cancer can cause in some ones life however the ladies I have met are some of the strongest women I know, they are so positive about moving on with life as best they can, however they all agree they could not do it without the help of Breast cancer support, So ladies and Gents One of the best ways of supporting Breast Cancer Research and Breast Cancer support is to hold an event of your own, no matter how small or big your event it is most welcome to Breast cancer Ireland, So lets get you started, Firstly you will need to think, What type of event you would like to do to raise money for Breast Cancer in October,? Fashion Show, Coffee Morning, Park run, Fitness Day, Turn a town Pink? its up to you, you think about it and then your next step is to go to the Breast Cancer website and download this very important form here is the link http://breastcancerireland.com/fundraising-events/event-approval-forms/
Its as simple as that so what are you waiting for? get planning your event and get your form and you are on your way.
I personally will be doing my usual Bra fittings in different locations in October for all you ladies who want to get it right, I will also be doing Post mastectomy fittings in select locations in Ireland & the UK so I will update you on this when I have my dates and venues confirmed,
All the best to everyone and good luck with your event,, Lets knock Cancer on the head by supporting Breast Cancer Research together.
