Two Irish Ladies, International Fashion Stylist Maureen O Halloran & Top Irish Fashion Designer Catriona Hanly Raise £700 for Alzheimer’s UK

A small village in West Berkshire was treated to an afternoon fashion show with one of Ireland’s Top fashion designers, Catriona Hanly.

International Fashion Stylist Maureen O Halloran who has recently relocated to the UK  is widely known for her very elegent  charity fashion events in Ireland, Maureen approached Catriona Hanly and asked her if she would like to do a fashion event for Alzheimer’s Uk and perhaps launch her latest collection for 2015, Catriona agreed and the event took shape, it was held in the tiny village of Compton, Newbury, west Berkshire

Never before had a designer fashion  event of this calibre  been held in such a small village however Maureen  decided that it was time it did and that West Berkshire Alzheimer’s association was an excellent local charity to help raise funds for.

It was to be an intimate affair with people coming to the event from all the local villages within a 5 mile radios, however people from Newbury & Reading also attended as the news had gone out on BBC Berkshire when Radio Presenter icon Anne Diamond had brought Maureen into the station for a chat, Anne who had Met Maureen many years ago at London Fashion week Had found out that Ireland’s Answer to Gok Wan was now living in the tiny village of Compton and wanted to know all about her move to the UK.

Catriona Hanly who now has her Fashion House in London brought along her latest summer 2015 one of which went onto win ladies day at the Cheltenham Races.
